Terms and Conditions

By registering as Tutor or Student or by using the website of SubjectTutor.com, you accept the terms and conditions set out herein. Visitors to the SubjectTutor.com who are not a Member similarly affirm that they are bound by these Terms and Conditions each time they access the SubjectTutor.com website.

1)     Subject Tutor is a connecting platform for Tutor and Student. Tutor advertises their profile and Student can comfortably and quickly communicate with the tutor of their choice.

2)     Subject Tutor is free for Student, but for Tutors there's a membership fee of Rs.970 per year.

3)     Subject Tutor is not responsible for the accuracy or legitimacy of the information provided by registered tutors and students. Tutors and Students in our database have not been screened. Background and reference checking is the responsibility of the student/guardian/parents.

4)     Tutors' Telephone number and email address are not displayed to public by default.  

5)     Payment and Tutoring service done between Tutor and Student are at their own risk. Also, Subject Tutor does not guarantee result as well as responsible for any other trouble caused by the tuition. Subject Tutor will not be involved in any tutor-student interactions in any subject. Subject Tutor is not responsible for disputes, claims, loss, injury, or damage of any kind that might arise during and after tutor-tutee interaction.

6)     If the student is under the age of 18, parent/legal guardian permission is required to contact registered tutors, and instructors in our database.
 

7)     When you register as Tutor or Student you will provide genuine and accurate personal information to use the website. You will maintain your profile to keep it true, accurate and complete at all times. You will not register under multiple identities or personas. You will enter advertisements that are accurate, truthful and complete. You cannot enter information that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, or otherwise objectionable.

8)     When you register as a Tutor, Subject Tutor does not guarantee tuition jobs. However, we will use all our resources to maximize our tuition jobs.

9)     No personal contact information, such as phone number, E-mail or home page, is allowed in tutor's description in the listing. Advertisements fail to comply the above policy; will be removed without any notification. Subject Tutor reserves the right to remove any advertisements it deems unsuitable for any reason, or in breach of the Terms and Conditions of Use.

10) Subject Tutor reserves the right to terminate the membership of any registered member without entering into further discussions with the member concerned. Membership will be terminated if the user's advertisement is in serious breach of terms and conditions, or the behavior of the member is deemed to be unsatisfactory or inappropriate.

11) Subject Tutor will make the best possible efforts to ensure the highest possible availability of the Subject Tutor site and services.

However, Subject Tutor takes no responsibility for any downtime of the website, or any losses that are incurred as a result of site availability or performance. No responsibility is assumed by Subject Tutor for the corruption of any of the data held by Subject Tutor.

12) These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, without any prior notification.

13) This web site is owned and operated by Subject Tutor. The contents of this web site including, but not limited to, the database information are protected by copyright laws and regulations. No material in any shape or form may be copied, reproduced, transmitted, or distributed.

14) Subject Tutor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profit, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses that result from the service, or the inability to access the service. Subject Tutor shall not be liable for the conduct or statements of other third parties to the service.

15) Subject Tutor listings can be placed by private individuals for non-commercial use only. For commercial use of Subject Tutor by any organizations such as education agency or tutoring companies, you will need to contact us first. Commercial activity in any form without permission from Subject Tutor management is considered in breach of our policy and will be prosecuted.
